Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of integrated human capital management solutions for payroll, HR, retirement, and insurance services, has been recognized as a Leader in the 2016 NelsonHall Payroll Outsourcing NEAT, a component of the firm’s Speed-to-Source initiative.

NelsonHall’s Evaluation and Assessment Tool (NEAT) vendor evaluation report tool is a method by which strategic sourcing managers may evaluate outsourcing vendors. It consists of a two-axis model – assessing vendors against their “ability to deliver immediate benefit” to buy-side organizations and their “ability to take clients on an innovation journey over the lifetime of their next contract.”

This marks the first time Paychex has participated in NelsonHall’s Speed-to-Source initiative. The 2016 NEAT evaluated 16 vendors and placed Paychex in the Leader quadrant for the following three areas: (1) technology and user experience, (2) analytics and reporting, and (3) HR cloud integration.

“Paychex continues to be fully committed to delivering to our clients the best and most robust solutions on the market today,” said Mike Gioja, senior vice president of IT, product management and development for Paychex. “This distinction is particularly important to us because of the client feedback that goes into the ranking. With Paychex Flex®, we’re enabling users to do what they want, where they want, when they want, and how they want. More importantly, we’re helping businesses drive efficiencies across the HCM spectrum and are doing so with a solution that allows our clients to grow with us.”

NelsonHall HR outsourcing research director Gary Bragar shares “Paychex received particularly high client scores including for electronic pay delivery, support of time data entry, payroll accuracy and timeliness, improved usability and end-to-end process experience, flexibility of approach, and strength of partnership.”

The NEAT report is available to buy-side organizations via free registration here.
