Paychex, Inc., a leading provider of payroll, human resource, insurance, and benefits outsourcing solutions for small- to medium-sized businesses, today announced the launch of the Paychex Multicultural Business Development Ambassador Program. Through the program, Paychex is investing in the country’s 3.2 million Hispanic-owned businesses by tapping into the knowledge and talent of its workforce to help Hispanic businesses succeed.

“The Hispanic/Latino Multicultural Business Development Ambassador Program exemplifies the Paychex values of partnership and innovation,” said Laurie Zaucha, vice president of human resources and organizational development at Paychex. “We’re utilizing the talents of our employees and bringing them together, across business units and geographies, to learn how we can better serve our Spanish-speaking customers and to identify opportunities to increase our connections with Hispanic-owned businesses.”

As part of the program, business owners will have access to the payroll, HR, and benefits expertise of Paychex and its employees, with multicultural ambassadors hosting educational seminars and workshops throughout the country.

“Hispanic business owners are eager to learn and grow their businesses, and the Paychex ambassadors are committed to providing the resources to help guide them on their businesses’ growth journey,” said Antonio Lizano, multicultural product marketing manager at Paychex.

Beyond providing educational resources, the ambassadors are also taking an active role in their communities, building meaningful relationships with Hispanic-focused organizations and business groups.

“At Paychex, we pride ourselves on the service and partnership we bring to our clients,” said Katrina Ramirez, 401(k)/S125 field support supervisor and Multicultural Business Development Ambassador leader at Paychex.   “Through my involvement in this program, I now get to extend that service value to Hispanic-owned businesses and work with them to help their businesses grow and thrive.”
