What is RSS?
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) allows you to automatically receive Paychex news headlines, summaries, and links to full press releases through an RSS reader or RSS capable browser.
Here is an example of a Paychex RSS feed:

How to View RSS Feeds
All you need to view RSS feeds is one of the following programs:
RSS/News Reader
RSS/News Readers (also called Aggregators) download and display RSS feeds from Paychex.com and other websites you’ve selected. You can download RSS readers for PC and Mac from sites such as http://download.cnet.com. Before you do, however, make sure the reader is compatible with RSS 2.0.
Web Browser
Many newer browsers have built-in RSS reading capabilities. These allow you to view and subscribe to RSS feeds without the need for extra software.
Browsers with RSS reading capabilities include:
• Internet Explorer 7.0
• Firefox 1.0 or higher
• Netscape 8.0 or higher
• Opera 7.5 or higher
• Safari 2.0 or higher
Subscribe to Paychex RSS Feeds
As long as your reader or browser supports the RSS 2.0 format, you can receive our feeds in one of two ways:
Through your RSS/News Reader
Simply copy this URL:
http://media.paychex.com/rss.cfm?section_id=0, and paste it into your RSS reader. Subscribe to the feed, and you will begin to receive the latest news from Paychex as soon as it is posted.
Through your Web Browser
Click on one or more of the “Subscribe” links at the top of the page, then click the RSS or XML icon (usually found in the address bar.)

Terms of Use for Paychex RSS feeds
RSS (Really Simple Syndication) service is a means by which Paychex.com offers feeds of current news and offerings in XML format ("RSS Content") to visitors of www.paychex.com (the "Paychex site") who use RSS readers/aggregators or RSS-capable Web browsers. These Terms of Use govern your use of the RSS service and may be changed by Paychex at any time without notice.
Use of RSS Feeds
RSS is a free service offered by Paychex to individuals for private, non-commercial use. Any other uses, including without limitation the incorporation of advertising into or the placement of advertising associated with or targeted towards the RSS Content, are strictly prohibited. Usage of the RSS feed must be provided as-is by Paychex. Any alteration of the text, content, or links supplied by Paychex is strictly prohibited. Web posting for non-private use is strictly prohibited.
Link to Content Pages
The RSS service may be used only with those platforms from which a functional link is made available that, when accessed, takes the viewer directly to the display of the full article on the Paychex Site. Displaying the RSS Content in a manner that does not permit successful linking to, redirection to or delivery of the applicable Paychex Site web page is prohibited. The insertion of any intermediate page, splash page or any other content between the RSS link and the applicable Paychex Site web page is prohibited.
Time Sensitive Content
The news releases, investor presentation, and other financial information on this Web site and in the RSS Content are NOT updated for new information, and any information they provide may no longer be viable subsequent to their issuance. Any information they provide is developed at the time of their issuance based upon facts and circumstances known at that time.
Ownership/Attribution
Paychex retains all ownership and rights in the RSS Content, and any and all Paychex logos and trademarks used in connection with the RSS Service. Paychex hereby grants to the RSS subscriber a non-exclusive, royalty free, limited license to use RSS as described in these Terms of Use. In connection with all use of the RSS feeds, attribution must be provided to the Paychex Inc. If text is used for to provide this attribution, Paychex shall appear in regular uppercase and lowercase type as "Paychex® Media Center." Paychex is not to be presented in italics, bold, or all caps. If a graphic is used to provide this attribution, the Paychex logo incorporated into the RSS feed must be used. Use of the Paychex logo shall not convey any ownership or transfer rights.
Right to Discontinue Feeds
Paychex reserves the right to discontinue providing any or all of the RSS feeds at any time without notice. In addition, Paychex reserves the right to require the cessation of displaying, distributing or otherwise using any or all of the RSS feeds for any reason including, without limitation, the violation of any provision of these Terms of Use. Paychex assumes no liability for any activities in connection with the RSS feeds or any use of the RSS feeds in connection with another website.
